G. About WWW SemNets
- The SemNets available on the WWW are clickable images that support
exploration of an interconnected network of ideas. These reproduce the
look and feel of the graphic view of SemNet, and in many cases provide
an overview of the main ideas in a given lesson.
- The WWW SemNets contain links to other sites on the Web which have
illustrations or other material related to the content of the lesson. A
link is indicated by an "L" on the lower right of a central concept.
This feature allows you to expand beyond the lesson itself to obtain relevant
material.
- The WWW SemNets lack all other functionalities of the SemNet software,
including multiple views, extraction of hierarchies, masking, attachments,
Jump command, quantitative count of elements, etc.
We welcome your comments and suggestions for
improving these SemNets.
